About this title
Nothing in the file says that the intimidating crime boss is a woman, or that she will notice his surveillance within roughly four minutes and find it amusing. Rather than disappearing, she toys with her new shadow and plainly enjoys doing so. Between an entertained partner, increasingly impatient superiors and a gangster queen who treats the entire operation as a diversion, the rookie’s mission ceases to be about observation alone. The central question is no longer whom he is watching, but which of them might eventually end up in handcuffs.
