Then it does. Each dare leads to another, and every reaction pushes the two of them further past what the game was supposed to allow. The family home, quiet and ordinary, slowly turns into a closed arena where something neither will name keeps building, and neither of them can step away from. What began as a joke takes on a weight of its own, and the moment it stops being a joke there is no route back to how things were. The question is not whether a limit has been crossed, but who will be the first to say it out loud.
