About this title
The arrangement is ordinary on paper: two brothers, one flat, one marriage. What complicates it is history — she was his first love, and that chapter never properly closed. Now the three of them live under the same roof, and the small machinery of the marriage runs through him: the favours, the secrets, the glances that last one second too long. Week after week, the border between in-law and something far less innocent wears thinner, and she makes no move to push it back where it belongs. There are feelings that always present their bill in the end.
