About this title
The feelings between them never truly ended; they only went unspoken. Now the family is gathered under one roof for the celebration, filling the house with shared hallways, careful looks, and memories that should have stayed buried. Neither of them is as convincing as they hoped. On one side is an official engagement, announced and welcomed by everyone. On the other is an obsession that was never resolved. They both understand exactly which boundary they must not cross. Understanding the rule, however, does not make it any easier to follow.
