About this title
She lays out the conditions for getting his money back like items on a price list, with each level of allowance carrying a different cost. None of the options is one he would have chosen. What began as a prank war quickly becomes something else entirely. The humiliation he planned for her turns into a game whose rules they both understand better than either will admit, and neither seems eager to end it. His cards remain frozen, the terms remain hers, and the only unanswered question is which of them will want to stop first.
