About this title
The festive holiday must therefore unfold at uncomfortably close quarters with two strangers, while the cat behaves like a displeased diva and makes her objection to the newcomers perfectly clear. Snow continues to mount outside, cutting off easy escape. Indoors, the ill-matched trio can only talk, quarrel and gradually adjust to one another's habits. The arrangement is awkward from the outset, and the animal's territorial antics do nothing to calm matters. Yet enforced company can alter relationships in unexpected ways, particularly when there is nowhere else to spend the long winter hours. What began as a booking mistake is becoming something more complicated, and their Christmas disruption has barely begun.
