About this title
Then comes the family Christmas gathering, complete with turkey, presents and a face he recognises at once. Skye, Jane’s sister, is unmistakably the woman from his screen, and she recognises her loyal subscriber on sight. A game of glances and knowing remarks follows, played in front of people who must never realise what is happening. The warm celebration becomes a room full of tripwires, where one badly directed look could bring everything down. Lucas must decide what he wants and how much he is prepared to conceal, and the evening has only just begun.
