About this title
Coming back from Cambridge, he expects the household to offer little more than a slow routine. Instead, his stepsisters focus all their attention on him and decide to treat him as their project for the season. Their playful campaign never lets up. Shared meals, idle afternoons beside the pool, and otherwise ordinary moments become parts of a game he did not agree to join. Each new attempt places him between loyalty to the girlfriend still at university and the temptations repeatedly arranged in front of him at home. He keeps refusing, but the pressure follows him from one setting to the next. The summer he expected to pass quietly becomes a measure of his resolve and of how many more times he can say no.
